Ari's Fit Challenge — Privacy Policy
This explains what I collect about you, why, who else sees it, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Plain version: I collect what I need to coach you and to ship your greens. I don't sell it, I don't trade it, and you can ask me to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected].
1. Who is responsible
Ariana Bedolla, operating Ari's Fit Challenge. Contact: [email protected].
2. What I collect
When you buy: your name, email address, shipping address, and the fact and amount of your payment. Your card details go directly to Stripe — I never see or store your card number.
When you fill in your intake form: age, height, current weight, goal, training experience, the equipment and days available to you, dietary preferences and allergies, and anything you choose to tell me about injuries, medications or health conditions.
During the twelve weeks: the weight and measurements you submit, your food and training logs, your written check-ins, your messages in the group, and any progress photographs you send.
Automatically, when you visit the site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed and how you arrived. This is standard website analytics.
3. Health information, and what HIPAA does and doesn't do
I am not a healthcare provider and HIPAA does not apply to this program. HIPAA covers doctors, hospitals and insurers. It does not cover coaches. Information you share with me does not carry HIPAA protection.
That is exactly why you should only tell me what you're comfortable telling a coach. I treat what you share as private and I don't discuss individual clients with anyone — but you should understand the difference between a promise I'm making and a legal protection you have. This is the former.
4. Who else handles your information
I use ordinary business services to run the program. Each one sees only what it needs:
- Kajabi — this website, forms, and my emails to you
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe holds your card details, not me
- Zoom — the group calls, including recordings
- Google Workspace — my email
- StrongHER by AFJ — the app included with your program, which has its own privacy policy governing what happens inside it
- A shipping carrier — your name and address, to deliver your greens
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent or trade it. I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
I would only disclose your information beyond the above if the law required it, or if it were genuinely necessary to protect someone's safety.
5. What other participants can see
This is a group program. Other participants will see your name, anything you post in the group, and you on the calls if your camera is on. Please treat that as public within the cohort.
Calls may be recorded and shared with the cohort so anyone who missed one can catch up. If you would rather not appear, keep your camera off — you can still take part by voice or chat.
Everyone in the group agrees not to screenshot, repost or share anything from it. I enforce that, but I cannot control other people, so please share accordingly.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies to keep it working, remember your session, and understand which pages people read. Kajabi sets some of these automatically.
I may also use advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or TikTok, which allow me to show ads to people who visited the site. These use cookies and share limited browsing information with those platforms.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the settings in your Facebook, Instagram or TikTok account. Blocking cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Photographs
By joining the program you agree that I may use your before-and-after photographs and written feedback in my marketing. Faces are blurred or cropped by default, and blurring is not complete anonymity — tattoos, clothing and surroundings can still identify you to people who know you.
You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing me. I will stop using your images in anything new and remove them from what I control. I cannot recall material already printed or reposted by others. Full detail is in the Coaching Terms.
8. Marketing emails
I will email you about your program — that's part of the service and you can't opt out of those while enrolled. I may also email you about future programs or offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email, and doing so won't affect your program emails.
9. How long I keep things
- Payment records — seven years, because tax law requires it
- Coaching records (check-ins, logs, measurements) — three years after your program ends, so I can help if you come back
- Progress photographs — until you ask me to delete them
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you
10. Your choices
Whether or not the law requires it of a business my size, you can ask me to:
- Tell you what I hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information, apart from records I'm legally required to keep, such as payment history
- Stop using your photographs
- Stop emailing you marketing
Email [email protected] and I'll action it within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for asking, and there's no charge.
California residents have specific rights under California privacy law, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. The list above is how you use them here. I do not sell personal information and I do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
11. Security
I take reasonable care — reputable providers, access limited to me, and I don't keep information I don't need. But no method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, and I can't promise otherwise. Anyone who tells you their system is unbreakable is overselling it.
12. Age
This program is for adults aged 18 and over. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.
13. Where your information is held
The program is sold to and delivered in the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you're outside the US, understand that US privacy law may differ from your own country's, and by joining you accept that your information is handled here.
14. Changes
If I change this policy I'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how I use your information, I'll email you rather than expect you to notice.
Questions, or want something deleted? Email [email protected]. A real person — me — reads it.
